Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain technical standards, best practices, and development methodologies to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
- Technology Roadmap:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement the company’s technology roadmap, aligning it with market trends and customer needs.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements and recommend technical solutions to drive product innovation and differentiation.
- Conduct regular technology assessments and make recommendations for technology investments and partnerships.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of software developers, architects, and technical specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting their professional growth and skills development.
- Establish performance metrics, conduct performance evaluations, and address any performance issues proactively.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to product release, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, to drive efficient and effective project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Technical Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives and supports its long-term growth plans.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and external resources to augment the company’s technical capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role in a software development company.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience in leading and managing software development teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business outcomes.
